1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of AI Transkriptio, operated by KoodiKraft.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

AI Transkriptio provides tools for submitting audio or video material for automated transcription and related processing, such as subtitle output, speaker diarization, translation options, billing, and account management.

The service may change over time, and features may be added, modified, or removed.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

You may need an account to use some parts of the service. Authentication is currently handled through Clerk.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping access to your account secure
  • ensuring the information you provide is accurate
  • all activity that occurs through your account unless caused by our own fault

3.2 Eligibility

You may use the service only if you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization.

4. Your Content

You retain rights to the audio, video, text, and other material you submit to the service.

You grant us a limited right to host, transmit, process, and store that material as necessary to:

  • operate the service
  • generate transcripts and related outputs
  • provide support, billing, security, and compliance functions

You must ensure that you have the legal right to submit and process the content you upload or link to.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law
  • process content you have no right to use
  • interfere with or abuse the service
  • bypass plan limits, rate limits, or security controls
  • upload malware or other harmful material
  • infringe third-party intellectual property or privacy rights

We may block, suspend, or restrict access where necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Billing and Plans

The service may offer free and paid plans.

If you use a paid plan:

  • billing is handled through Stripe
  • pricing, quotas, and included usage may vary by plan
  • failed payment may lead to restricted access or suspension of paid features

Specific commercial terms shown during checkout, in Stripe, or in the billing UI form part of your service arrangement.

7. Usage Limits

The service may apply limits such as:

  • monthly GPU or processing quotas
  • file or duration limits
  • rate limits
  • plan-specific restrictions

These controls are used to operate the service fairly and safely.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may:

  • perform maintenance
  • change technical implementations
  • modify, add, or remove features
  • suspend access for security, abuse, payment, or legal reasons

9. AI Output Disclaimer

Transcriptions, translations, diarization, and other AI-generated outputs may contain errors.

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, compliance, publishing, or other high-impact purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

KoodiKraft and its licensors retain all rights in the service itself, excluding your content.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the software, infrastructure, or non-public parts of the service except as allowed by law.

11. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between the Privacy Policy and these Terms on a privacy-specific issue, the Privacy Policy governs that issue.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you materially breach these Terms
  • payment fails for paid services
  • your use creates security, legal, or operational risk
  • we are required to do so by law

Termination does not automatically remove records we must keep for legal, accounting, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis
  • we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

If you are a consumer and mandatory consumer protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights apply.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of protections granted by mandatory law in your country of residence.

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date.

If a change is materially adverse, we will try to provide reasonable notice through the service or by email.
